The Story Behind My Logo

Logos aren’t just designs. They tell stories, hold power, and evoke emotion.

And mine? It stands for everything I believe in — personal sovereignty, resilience, and the freedom to build a life and business on your own terms.

One of my favourite things about it? From far away, it looks like a little person throwing their arms up in victory — like “Yes! I did it!”

And that’s exactly what I want people to feel. That moment of triumph, of stepping into your own power.

Then, there’s the crown.

I know crowns can be tricky. Some might see it and think of monarchy, colonialism, or systems of oppression. And I get that. But for me, the crown in my logo has nothing to do with those things.

It represents personal sovereignty — the ability to make choices that align with your values. The freedom to create a business and life that are truly your own, built on integrity and self-respect — not dictated by someone else’s rules.

A Personal Connection: The Claddagh Ring

I’m half Irish, and if you’ve ever seen a Claddagh ring, you might notice some similarities. The Claddagh features a crown, a heart, and two hands — symbolizing love, loyalty, and friendship.

The history behind it is powerful. The original design is linked to a man who was sold into slavery but later freed. Instead of becoming bitter, he created a symbol of care, connection, and community. That’s a story that deeply resonates with me.

The Deeper Connection

I’m also passionate about working with Indigenous communities, and part of that comes from recognizing shared histories. Ireland was colonized by the British, too. While the experiences aren’t identical, there are undeniable parallels — land stolen, language lost, cultural genocide attempted. Many people don’t realize just how much we have in common.

Healing from colonization isn’t just an individual journey — it’s a collective one.

The Final Touch: Colors & Alchemy

The colours of my logo hold their own meaning.

💛 Gold & Black: Transformation — what I think of as alchemy. Turning struggles into wisdom, learning, growing, and using every challenge to create something valuable.

💖 Pink: I just love pink. But more than that, it represents love, courage, and generosity — the things I strive to bring into everything I do.

When you see my logo, know that it’s more than a design. It’s a reflection of everything I stand for — personal freedom, resilience, community, and creating something meaningful on your own terms.
